Privacy Policy

Court Daemon is a trial archive network published by Court Daemon and built by Trice Digital. This policy explains what happens to information when you visit courtdaemon.com. Each archive in the network carries the same policy on its own domain.
The short version
There are no accounts, no logins, no newsletter, no advertising, and no tracking cookies on this site. Nothing you do here is sold, rented, or shared with data brokers, and nothing follows you to other websites.
What is collected
Usage measurement. The site counts visits using privacy-friendly analytics that we run ourselves rather than a commercial advertising platform. It records the page viewed, the referring page, the browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your network connection. It sets no cookie, assigns no persistent identifier, and cannot build a profile of you across other websites. The results are aggregate counts used to understand which parts of the network are useful and to keep the sites working well.
Outbound links. When you follow a link from this site to anywhere else, that click is counted along with the page you left from, so we know which case guides send readers onward. It records where the link went, not who followed it.
Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare's network. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard request information, including IP addresses, to deliver pages and to protect the site from abuse and attack. That processing is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy.
Third-party services
Support link. The footer links to Ko-fi for anyone who wants to support the archives. That is an outside service. If you go there, Ko-fi's policy governs, and no payment is ever processed on this site.
Fonts. Typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which receives the request that loads them.
The archives themselves. Each archive runs on its own domain with its own privacy policy, which mirrors this one. Where an archive embeds courtroom video, that video plays through YouTube's privacy-enhanced player and Google's policy applies once you press play.
Children
The network is a public-record reference and is not directed to children under 13. No information is knowingly collected from them.
Your requests

Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
