Court Daemon is a network of free, public archives of court records, published by Court Daemon and built by Trice Digital. By using courtdaemon.com you agree to these terms. Each archive carries the same terms on its own domain, adapted to its own sources.
What this network is
Court Daemon organizes material that is already public: court transcripts, filings, dockets, and courtroom video published by courts, court reporters, and news organizations. It exists so that the record is searchable and citable. It is a reference work, not journalism, not advocacy, and not entertainment. It is not affiliated with any party to any case in the network, with any court, or with any law firm.
This site is the network's front door. It hosts case guides and directs readers to the archives, each of which holds its own record and states its own sources.
Accuracy and the official record
Each archive states how its own transcripts were produced. Depending on the case, sources include court reporter transcripts and courtroom video processed through automated speech recognition and corrected with AI assistance across multiple review passes. Errors are possible, and some sources contain errors of their own.
The official court record always governs. Nothing in this network is a certified transcript, and nothing here should be relied on as one. If a passage matters to you, verify it against the official record before you use it. Where an archive links to an official source, that source outranks anything shown here.
Supporting material
Alongside the records, the network publishes descriptive material: the case guides on this site, and within each archive, person profiles, location and evidence entries, proceeding and day overviews, and similar aids. These exist to help readers navigate long records.
They are written to describe what the record contains, not to interpret it, argue it, or characterize anyone's conduct. They take no position on guilt, credibility, or the merits of any case.
This material is drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by a human editor before publication. It is supplementary, may contain errors or miss important nuance, and is not a substitute for reading the record itself. The record is always the primary source.
Charges, testimony, and findings
The network covers active prosecutions, concluded criminal trials, and concluded civil litigation. Across all of them, charges, allegations, testimony, and argument are not findings of fact. A person charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until convicted in a court of law, and where a charge did not result in a conviction that presumption is never displaced. Where a jury returned a verdict, the verdict is what the jury found and nothing else in the record carries that weight. The archives present the record on that basis and do not adjudicate what was true.

Nothing in this network is legal advice, and using it creates no attorney-client relationship of any kind. If you have a legal question, consult a lawyer.
Corrections and removal requests
Accuracy matters more here than volume, so corrections are genuinely welcome.
To report an error, use the report link on any archive page, or write to [email protected]. Please include the page address and enough of the passage to locate it. Verified errors are corrected.
To request removal, write to [email protected] and identify the specific material and the basis for the request. Every request is read and answered by a person.
Please understand the standard that is applied. The network publishes material that is already part of the public court record, and it will not remove accurate public-record content simply because a person would prefer it were not findable. What will be acted on is material that is inaccurate, material that is under a sealing, impoundment, or expungement order or an equivalent legal restriction, and material that identifies a person in a way the court itself protected. Requests that fall outside those grounds may be declined, and the reason will be given.
Copyright and reuse
Court records are public documents. The selection, organization, correction, annotation, design, and code of these archives are the work of Trice Digital and are protected accordingly. Broadcast footage belongs to the news organizations that produced it.
Citing, quoting, and linking to the archives is encouraged, including deep links to individual lines. Attribution to the archive in question is appreciated. Crawling and indexing, by search engines and by AI systems alike, are permitted, and the archives are built to be quoted accurately. What is not permitted is republishing an archive wholesale as your own, or presenting its content in a way that misstates what the record says or implies a finding that no court has made.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.

If these terms change, the effective date above changes with them.
